M76 semi-automatic rifle manufactured by Zastava in Yugoslavia and imported by Mitchell Arms of Santa Ana, CA under the model designation "AK-47". The left side of the receiver is stamped "ZASTAVA KRAGUEJEVAC/ MADE IN YUGOSLAVIA", with the right side being marked "MODEL AK-47/ CAL7.92X57" followed by the importer information. Selector is marked "SAFE" and "FIRE". Features include a milled receiver, blued finish, 25" barrel, standard AK pattern front & rear sights, ZRAK M76B optic (reminiscent of the Romanian LPS optic), hard wood handguards & pistol grip, as well as a hardwood buttstock fitted with a black rubber recoil pad. Receiver is engraved with the serial number "001984" with the top of the trunnion, receiver cover, recoil mainspring, bolt carrier, bolt, and gas tube matching via an electro-penciled "29142" inscription. CONDITION: Excellent, with metal components retaining the vast majority of their blue finish, exhibiting some minor superficial handling marks from handling and storage overall, as well as usual areas of silvering from operation of the safety and gas tube levers. Mirror bore, exhibiting sharp and well defined lands and grooves throughout. Hardwood furniture is excellent. Optic is excellent. MLW
