SSW. An outstanding and early Chas. Wagner "All the Latest Styles and Furs Always on Hand" Smaltz painted wood sign with detailed graphic. CONDITION: The sign has strong color throughout, as well as a thick layer of Smaltz paint that is solid throughout. The sign has multiple stress fractures and added holes, mostly to the top of the sign surrounding the "Chas. Wagner" lettering. The sign has minor early areas of match paint that were only noticeable under black light. Overall, an outstanding early example.
