A classic French automaton of a clown performing gymnastic feats on parallel bars. When the mechanism is activated the music plays while the clown first turns, slowly raises his feet into the air and proceeds to turn again balancing himself with one hand on the bars. A great mid range automaton with wonderful action, older restoration to the clothing and papier mâché head. This clown figure in off white satin outfit with pointed hat features blue glass eyes and handpainted face makeup.
