Early, important display razor was made by Wade & Butcher Sheffield. Most likely was made for an exposition or trade show. One side of the scale has an engraving of the Declaration of the Independence, while the other side has an engraving of a train yard and ships in use. The blade has a very fine etching of different types of industry such as farming and blacksmithing. There are a few tiny chips to the front of the blades edge. The scales are very clean with only some minor stress cracks on one side. This is a wonderful advanced advertising piece that would be a highlight in any collection.

Condition: (Excellent Plus).

Item Dimensions: 18 - 3/4" L.
