Very early manufactured original HK MP5. Imported by SACO as indicated on right side of magazine housing with HK markings and dated “12/72” on top of receiver. Push-pin lower with dual magazine release, military three position selector with steel inside the trigger guard and vintage non-concave holes stock assembly. Includes one correct original 1972 marked straight magazine. This is a registered receiver gun. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is very good original finish with loss of finish at the high edges to grey patina. Just good honest handling and shooting wear. Actually rather refreshing to see. Composite furnishings are very good. Mechanics are fine. Bore is near excellent shiny and bright. Bolt extremely fine. This is a select fire machine gun. NFA registry indicates simply, “Heckler and Koch” as the manufacturer. Just a great piece for the early Heckler & Koch collector.
