Plainfield manufactured select fire .30 carbine in an attractive reproduction World War II paratrooper folding stock with added muzzle flash hider. Includes one contemporary 30 round magazine and a green web sling. This is a registered receiver machine gun. Plainfield markings on the receiver with round bolt and ramp style rear sight. Receiver serial number is the only visible serial number. Plainfield produced the M1 carbine in response to market demand. Relatively inexpensive, light, compact and easy to transport; it is a favorite. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish are extremely fine lustrous blue original finish with some wear to gray patina on the round bolt. Mechanics are crisp. Bore has shiny lands with some darkness in the grooves. Bolt face extremely fine. Until one takes a closer look, under a cursory glance, this gun really looks the part of a World War II carbine. Would be great for a reenactor event. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4. JWK 2019-10-212
