Manufactured by National Postal Meter between February 1943 to September 1943. Barrel marked Underwood with flaming bomb and dated 3-43. Non-import gun. "N" marked front sight and "S" marked rear flip sight. Correct internal parts with proper contractor marks. Correct flat bolt with "N9" marking. "Un" marked sling swivel. Uncut "I" cut high wood stock with correct National Postal Meter cartouches on right side of the stock. Unmarked two rivet top wood. Comes with 15 round flat bottom clip marked "SP", unmarked oiler and olive drab sling. CONDITION: 80% original arsenal finish remaining on metal surfaces with shootable bore with an ME of 2. Good mechanics. Wood has 80% original finish with some light handling marks. DLM2019
