Manufactured by Winchester Repeating Arms between December 1943 and November 1944. Barrel marked with "W" and Winchester proof mark. Non-import gun. Unmarked front sight with "S" marked rear flip sight. Correct internal parts with proper Winchester markings, including slide and push button safety and clip release. Winchester flat blued bolt. Uncut oval low cut wood stock with "W" in sling well and crossed cannons on the right side. "W" marked top wood with four rivets. Comes with unmarked oiler, khaki sling and "BW" marked dented bottom clip. CONDITION: 80% arsenal finish on metal parts with some light handling marks. Good shootable bore with a ME of 2 and good mechanics. Wood retains 70% arsenal finish with sharp cartouches and light handling marks. Good mechanics and a great carbine. DLM2019
