This gun has been completely stripped and each part examined to determine originality. It features push safety, rare serrated magazine release, marked dog-head H marked hammer, Inland marked flat bolt, High wood with I cut, Inland marked stock, Inland handguard with two rivets and wide groove, Inland stamped slide/op-rod, Inland trigger, Inland General Motors stamped barrel dated 3-42. The stock also has a P stamped on grip cap area. Original blue magazine is also stamped AI. CONDITION: Metal is clean with dark finish mixing with patina and some thinning. Rifling is sharp. Stocks are excellent. The M1 carbine was not approved until October 22, 1941 so this gun was made only five months later. A very rare and all original Inland. DB
