Exceptionally attractive F.A.L. (French: Fusil Automatique Léger) "Light Automatic Rifle”. The machine gun designated as FAL has been marketed world-wide and was adopted by NATO forces in the Cold War era with great satisfaction and success. This particular gun has Australian markings, wood furnishings, and a broad-arrow proof on the right side of the receiver. ATF Registration forms shows “John Benjamin” as the manufacturer, with a “JCB” suffix added to the serial number below the ejection port. Lower assembly bears number AD6220364. Beautiful wood furnishings on this gun including wood panels on the bipod legs. Carrying handle is an attractive brown composite. One 20 round magazine also included. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent smooth gray refinish with slight thinning of finish at a couple of contact points. Wood has light handling marks with one noticeable ding on the right side near the comb of the buttstock. Mechanics are fine. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt is near excellent. This is a select fire machine gun. The FAL rifle saw widespread military use in over 90 countries for over 3 decades.
