Very clean high condition Chinese AKS with underfolding stock. Manufactured in 1985. NFA registry shows the manufacturer of this gun as simply, “China” in the electronic registry. Selector markings indicate “U”, “R”, “J”. Importer marking at bottom of receiver as shown in photos. Hinged action cover is a very convenient improvement when checking internals of action at the range or in the field as one need not set it down to free up both hands. One 30-round magazine is included with this machine gun. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent original finish. Both wood and composite furnishings are also near excellent. Magazine has numerous light handling marks. Mechanics are crisp. Bore near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt extremely fine. This is a select fire machine gun. This configuration is among the most popular of all assault rifles, and is the most remarkable definitive of the name.
