Utterly fantastic high-quality manufacture and condition Valmet Model 78 host rifle with wooden furnishings converted to a full-auto, select-fire machine gun by installing a Fleming registered sear. Three position lever selector indicates full-auto position with three “dots” with semi-auto operation indicated with a solitary “dot”. Otherwise this gun incorporates the desirable features of wood furnishings, folding carrying handle and bipod affixed to a heavy barrel with three prong flash hider incorporating a bayonet lug. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent original finish on metal, wood, and composite parts. Original 20 round magazine also near excellent dated “06 / 81” with crown proof. Mechanics are crisp. Bore near excellent, shiny and bright. This is a select-fire machine gun. For someone who desires the pinnacle of the AK-47 design in .308 combined with the highest standards of manufacture and high original condition, this is it !!
