Attractive commercial blue finish 28 fin barrel Reising Model 50 machine gun with compensator. Two 20 round magazines are included. The Reising Model 50 was fielded in limited numbers mostly to the Marine corps during World War II. It also was extensively used by police departments. The Reising has an intrinsic accuracy advantage of firing from a closed bolt on the first shot and it is a popular entry level machine gun today. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is extremely fine original finish with a couple handling marking and thinning here and there. Trigger guard starting to turn a brown patina. Wood exhibits some light dings and handling marks with a small ½” long chip at rear of cocking slot. Mechanics are fine. Bore is extremely fine, shiny and bright. Bolt face is extremely fine. This is a select fire machine gun. A really nice specimen of a .45 ACP machine gun. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4 AS CURIO & RELIC ELIGIBLE. JWK 2019-10-55
