Rather seldom available 5.56 mm FN-C machine gun as converted from an original Fabrique Nationale semi-auto upper imported by “Gun South” with markings below original FN Herstal markings on left side of receiver. “CAL .223 REM SPORTER” also on left side of receiver. Four position smooth-sided aftermarket aluminum lower marked “S, 1, 3, and A”. One can see the serial numbered auto-sear when lower is removed from upper. Five 30 round M-16 magazines are included as well as a black web sling. The FN-C is immediately recognizable from the spring tension cover on the charging handle slot. Each time the charging handle moves to the rear it raises the cover against light spring tension. When the charging handle moves forward the cover closes again. An innovative way to keep the action closed from foreign material getting into the action. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent black anodized finish on lower near excellent black hardcoat and blued finish on remaining parts. Composite parts near excellent with some slight handling marks and a yellow sticker on right side. Mechanics are crisp. Bore is near excellent, shiny, and bright. Bolt face is extremely fine. This is a select-fire machine gun. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4. JWK 2019-10-181.
