Exceptional condition parkerized grey finish Harrington & Richardson Reising Model 50 machine gun with 14 ribs on barrel. One magazine included. The Reising Model 50 was fielded in limited numbers to the Marine Corps during World War II when there were insufficient Thompson machine guns to meet military demand. The Resing Model 50 has the intrinsic accuracy advantage of firing from a closed bolt on the first shot. Police departments took a significant number of these Reisings into their inventories during and after World War II. This particular gun has a sticker on the right side of the stock, "Drug Enforcement Administration Evidence". A semi-automatic model with a longer barrel was also produced in response to civilian private factory security demands. Today the Reising Model 50 has gained popularity as a well-made and fun .45 ACP entry level machine gun. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent parkerized gray original finish. Wood is near excellent with only the slightest of handling marks. Mechanics are crisp. Bore is near excellent shiny and bright. Bolt face near excellent.
