Beautiful Heckler & Koch Model 53 machine gun with five 30 round magazines. Recognized as one of the best intermediate cartridge firing platforms, the H&K 53 has been greatly favored by law enforcement agencies since its introduction. Proof mark “HH” on this specimen indicates 1978 manufacture. Serial number on left side of magazine well with three position selector “S, E, F”. Telescoping shoulder stock and bird-cage flash hider make this a very attractive specimen. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is extremely fine to near excellent black hard coat original finish with the slightest indication that a scope mount was affixed at some point. Forward sling ring has slight loss of finish. Composite furnishings near excellent. Magazines near excellent. Mechanics are crisp. Bore is near excellent shiny and bright. Bolt extremely fine to near excellent. A super gun for the current FFL/SOT dealer to make their own. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER.
