The Valmet M82 is a bullpup select fire machine gun derived from the M76 internals configured to fit a bullpup footprint. It briefly saw service with Finnish Paratroopers, but was quickly dismissed due to an unwieldy distribution of weight and the tendency of paratroopers to hit themselves in the face with the offset sights during jumps. This is a standard configuration M82 with sights offset to left of barrel, right side ejection, polyuerthane stock. Right side has selector switch with settings for full, semi, and safe. Rear sight marked on front "M82/Cal. 5,56 (.223)" rear marked "(Valmet Logo) / Made in Finland / 161615". Front sight marked on rear with importer stamp for ODIN International. This example is also accompanied by its original box, correctly numbered to gun with small empty oil bottle, three piece cleaning rod, tool, manual. CONDITION: Rifle is extremely fine, with very light markings from usage and operation. Stocks are fine with a few minor marks. Action moves smoothly when operated by hand with fine bore, bright and shiny with sharp rifling. If you are a fan of bullpups, this is a harder one to find.
