This gun is one of 1,500 made using the NID action with cocking indicators, commonly referred to as the "Model B". These were made from 1926 until 1934. 10 - 1/8 inch barrels are chambered for the 2 3/4 inch 20 gauge shell. Saw handle wood grip without large spur. Engraved "AUTO & BURGLAR GUN/ ITHACA GUN CO. ITHACA. NY" on either side of the receiver. Checkered grip and forend. Matching numbers. CONDITION: Retains 20% case colors on receiver mixed with a pleasing patina. Barrels retain 90% blue. Markings are clear. Wood has dings and handling marks, showing use. Forend fit is a little loose. Checkering is worn but good. Bores are fine. Fine mechanical function.
