Mint in the original box Military Armament Corporation Powder Springs “SSSW” Single-Shot Survival Weapon (Pen Gun) as was supplied to U.S. government for covert operations use and also offered on the civilian market. 3 - 1/4” long in carry-mode and only 5/8” in diameter, when supplied for covert operations it included a rubber sleeve so it could be concealed in a body cavity until needed for use. The muzzle end unscrews to load/unload a solitary .22 cartridge and it can be carried safely while loaded. One cocks it by unscrewing and pulling the rear end cap to where a simple lever in the side holds the striker against spring tension. Depressing the lever releases the striker which fires the .22 Long rifle cartridge out of the muzzle end. Marked, “Military Armament Corporation” and Cobray Logo. Includes a spare “barrel” with disk red sticker covering muzzle and belt clip/carrier. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near mint in original plastic box with original label intact and in good legible condition. Box is cracked with one plastic hinge broken. Mechanics of SSSW are crisp. This is a very real and classic part of the development of the modern “Any Other Weapon” category of firearms. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM WILL INCUR A $5.00 TRANSFER TAX IF TRANSFERRED ON AN ATF FORM 4. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4 CLASSIFIED AS "ANY OTHER WEAPON". JWK 2019-10-143
