Absolutely fantastic Colt M16A1 machine gun still new in the box in original packaging. Consignor states bolt has never been pulled back. CMP marked chrome bore gun with black web sling, chamber and bore brush, and cleaning rod set all still new in their original plastic packaging. Owner’s manual and plastic muzzle cap also included in the original factory cardboard box with silver absorbent paper, plastic bag and styrofoam packing materials. Gun serial number is written on one end of the box. Consignor has provided copy of original sales receipt for this gun as well. Typical Colt logo and address on left side of receiver. Classic configuration with bayonet lug, triangular handguards, bolt forward assist, sling swivels, and buttstock trap. One colt 20 round magazine is included which was not included in with the gun in the box. Receiver serial number is the only visible serial number. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is mint unfired in box with moisture absorbent paper tube still in bore. Box is in extremely fine. Have not examined bore, bolt face, nor tested mechanics in order to preserve condition. Upon closest possible inspection one may find a handling mark, but this guns condition is just about impossible to upgrade. Perfect for the forward-thinking investor/collector.
