This is a very early motion window sign for Owl Cigars. Clockwork operation with a rotating disc to simulate the rising smoke from the cigar and electrical operation to light the owl's eyes. Retaining the original makers instruction tag on the back. Wood frame construction with a cardboard front. Condition is very good considering the age, retaining bright colors with some minor touch-up to the painted pinstripe sign on the outer edge. A rare survivor of early motion advertising, in striking detail and working.
