c. 1898. Fleers Pepsin Gum used this machine as an inducement to buy the nickel package of gum pictured on the front of this machine. In 1914 Fleer sold out to American Chicle. Nice original case and mechanism with touch-up to the front graphic. With key. Referenced in "Silent Salesman Too" by Bill Enes, page 153.
