This is a porcelain based cast iron Hance Mfg. Co, "Rex" breath pellet machine. The porcelain base is in excellent condition with no measurable chipping, the cast-iron parts have paint loss and some oxidation. The decal is a replacement. A very difficult breath pellet machine to find in any condition and this one is far better than average. Working and with period locks. Has keys. Reference in "Silent Salesman Too" by Bill Enes, page 70.
