This is another version of a Champion "L" shaped vending machine featuring Walter Baker Chocolates and We-chu-it Pepsin gum. The coin mechanism on this machine is marked champion and the front porcelain panel sign is marked "F.M.D. & Co. 52 State st., Chicago IL." Condition is all original. The wood case machine has some oxidation and lifting to the red paint. The green side panels have some small chips on the edges and a few slight chips in the outside edges of the field with one nickel sized chip at the upper mounting hole on the right side. The front panel has a nice graphic of the iconic Walter Baker lady, with only minor chipping to the outside edges. The internal components are intact and operative along with original operating instructions on the inside front panel. This front panel is a rare variation to any Walter Baker vending machine, however this machine appears to be a marriage of an Autosales Chiclets machine with green side panels and a Walter baker front door in white and blue porcelain. Since Autosales made the machine for many different gum and chocolate companies, it would not be unusual for an operator to put a different door on another machine. Working and with keys. Not pictured in "Silent Salesman Too" by Bill Enes, however other vending machines by this manufacturer are referenced on page 154.

This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
