This Case Pepsin gum and fortune machine is very rare. After depositing a coin, the disc in front of the fortune teller figure spins and then stops on a specific letter with a corresponding fortune on the card on the front glass. And of course it would dispense a stick of Case Pepsin gum as well. There are only a couple of these machines that have surfaced to date, and this one is in all original condition. There is paint loss and oxidation to the tin case on all sides, and the front and side paint is faded throughout. The front panel is embossed with some paint loss and oxidation. The fortune teller with considerable fading to her face, is original and the lithography throughout is untouched. The inside of the machine and columns have considerable oxidation. The machine works as intended, and there are keys to the front panel. This machine has a classic aged patina, and its rarity over compensates for condition.
