The Griswold Mfg. Co. made this machine for the Red Star Sanitary Vending Machine Co.of Davenport Iowa, c. 1914. Another classic cast-iron peanut machine with flared globe, aluminum tray, and unusual dial operated coin entry. This example is in original paint with all original parts. The paint is worn with areas of oxidation, however it has a great look and is a wonderful example of a good original Griswold. Working and with keys. Pictured in "Silent Salesman Too" by Bill Enes, page 68.
