This is a very rare version of a Peerless Gum Vender Co. "Tefft's Chewing Gum" machine. Patented July 24, 1906 and made in Geneva NY., this machine vended tab gum and is labeled for both Wintergreen and Peppermint flavors. All wood construction with internal tab gum columns and working mechanism, there is a separate coin entry for both flavors. All original finish showing signs of wear, and some loss to the original varnish. All original patina, this machine could be mounted on a wall or to a floor stand. The front graphic is paper under glass and in excellent condition. No key to the front door, however the door is not locked and easily removed. Retains the original lock. This gum vending machine is not listed in "Silent Salesman Too".
