At the turn of the century, dress shirts were purchased separately from their collars and "collar buttons were used to attach the color to the shirt. As such, collar button machines were developed to make the needed collar attachment available outside of just men's apparel stores. This very unique collar button vending machine is rare and from an unknown manufacturer. In original copper flash finish, glass panel rotating selection, and slotted finial capable of holding a marquee, this vending machine is a stunning example of early vending. All original finish, with replaced bottom coin door and a vintage cardboard advertisement for Lincoln Neckwear. Has keys.
