A very early and outstanding example of the Auto City 5¢ cigar reverse painted sign. Beautiful gold-leaf detail to the outside rim, with a five-color full graphic in the middle of the sign depicting a family in their early vehicle. Made by the Queen Bee Cigar Company in Lansing, Michigan, this is an extremely rare sign patented June 19th, 2001. Outstanding to near-mint condition.
CORRECTION: Patent date is 1891 not 2001.
