1st Pattern NSKK Crash Helmet, constructed of molded black leather with raised, padded bars running horizontally around the helmets bottom edge, and another protective bar running from front to back over the crown top. Both ventilation grommets to each side of crown present. Front center of helmet has a 1st pattern NSKK stylized national eagle, still firmly attached. Short leather visor stitched to front with protective side and rear panels. Side panels each have a vertical half-moon shaped, ear cut-out with stitched on closure flaps. Rear neck flap intact. Side panels also have extended straps to bottoms which act as the chinstrap. Interior of helmet has a tan leather, fully intact with all fingers, crown pad, and original tie string present. Liner is heavily stamped in with maker ID and is stamped as a size "55" over stamped "54". Liner is nicely intact with light wear. Patina to eagle and obvious wear to leather exterior. CONDITION: NRA Very Good.
