This is a wonderful pear of figural match and cigar holders. (A) The holder is in the form of a Puss in Boots figure in full relief form, including boots and cape, standing next to the basket that would hold cheroot-sized cigars. It is marked on the bottom "Derby Silver Co." There is cast pot metal showing great patina. CONDITION: The holder shows no breaks, cracks or repairs. There are some areas of plating loss. (B) A desk-mounted match and cigar holder in the form of Puss in Boots-type form, more of the look of a bulldog instead of a cat. There is pot metal casting and great relief, marked "LSF No. 66" on the bottom. CONDITION: The holder shows no breaks, cracks or repairs. The figure is holding an original sword in great relief, with a great aged patina.
