This is a pair of figural desktop match holders. (A) A cast iron frog with hinged back, advertising the Pointer Stoves and Ranges on his back. It is marked on the bottom "For Kahler Company New Albany, Indiana." CONDITION: The match holder shows original green paint and hinged back with no breaks, cracks or repairs. (B) A figural match holder in the form of a frog dragging a snail behind it; the snail is the match holder. CONDITION: The holder has great detail and relief of this bronze casting, showing a wonderful aged patina with no breaks, cracks or repairs.
