This is a pair of desktop smoking accessories. (A) A match holder and cigar cutter from the Zimmerman Company. It shows a basket for cigars, one for matches and a guillotine-type cigar cutter to the right with match strike in the front, clearly marked "Zimmerman Company" on the bottom with the serial number 12768. CONDITION: The holder shows both original and added black paint to the cast iron construction with a great aged patina. (B) A figural match holder and lighter in the form of a gentleman sitting on a barrel holding a cigar. The hat tilts back in order to add kerosene. These lighters generally had a flame and would light the match with that flame to light the cigar, which is mounted to a marble base. CONDITION: The holder shows a great aged patina. There are no breaks, cracks or repairs. It retains the original cigar lighter.
