This is a wonderful pair of desktop match holders. (A) A cast bronze in the form of a casket with a bit of gothic relief, including a cast bat on top and the face of a Hades figure to the front. It has a great relief and design, with a match striker embedded in the front. CONDITION: The holder shows aged patina with correct hinged lid for the match holder. (B) A figural bird match dispenser with basket and matches in polychrome paint. It is cast bronze construction with a fully operational tilting bird with spring and match striker. CONDITION: The holder shows minor paint loss. The bird retains the majority of its polychrome paint. There are some areas of paint loss, most notably around the match striker.
