This cast iron figural desk set shows a fill-figured gentleman with top cap carrying a ladder and a bucket on his back, with two buckets on either side of him that held matches. The bucket in the back is a reservoir for kerosene that would produce the flame for the cigar out of his mouth, used for lighting your cigars. It is mounted on the original marble base, with an actual frame that probably had the owner's name on a card inside the frame. CONDITION: It has an aged patina to the bronze casting, with a deep, rich, dark finish, with also an aged finish to the brass match holders. There is light staining to the marble base.

Condition: (Good)

Item Dimensions: 8 - 1/4" X 7 - 1/4" X 3 - 1/2".
