An iconic form young man cigar cutter, where the cigar end would be put in his mouth and his arm would be depressed to nip it. It has a patent date of January 1881, marked for the Cast Iron Foundry. CONDITION: The cigar cutter shows later applied polychrome paint, probably sometime early in this piece's existence, with a great aged patina. There are no breaks, cracks or repairs.
