This is a pair of desktop cigar holder and lighter. (A) A cast bronze in the form of an older gentleman with a beard and hat in great detail. This was a cheroot holder, and the base has six locations to which small cigars would have been held. CONDITION: It shows a great aged patina with no areas of breaks, cracks or repairs. It is believed that this figural form that once had a basket or backpack mounted to his back that would have held matches, as the base is a full match strike. (B) A cigar holder and lighter cast bronze and formed metal base in the form of a cowboy-looking gentleman with vest and pants, holding either a walking stick or rifle in his left hand and a large backpack which would have held kerosene. He has a cigar in his mouth from which a flame would have emulated. It has a great form and detail with a back area for holding cigars. CONDITION: It shows no breaks, cracks or repairs. It has great detail to the cigar holder, as well as the gentleman lighter.
