This is a pair of match dispensers. (A) A cast bronze match dispenser, marked in French for the distributer on the front. It is in a figural form of an Asian gentleman with a fan standing next to a smokestack. When the smokestack is depressed, it is made to vend a match out of the hole in the top, as well as a match strike in the front. CONDITION: It maintains the original patina. Oxidation has occurred to the exterior, and there is light surface rust to the smokestack column with a really desirable aged look. (B) A match dispenser with a cast bronze base and collar, marked for the Champagne Champion Reims. The bottom is marked "Property De Je Champion" with an address in Paris. CONDITION: There are areas of oxidation and corrosion to the cast base and tin cigar piece. However, the dispensing mechanism is fully operational.
