This is a whimsical bronze figural casting of a monkey dressed in a hooded coat that appears to be performing some form of dentistry on an upright dog. A very unusual casting with very unusual subject matter. The bucket to the right was used to hold cigars. CONDITION: The cigar holder shows a patinaed bronze casting with dark and light areas, which is common given the time span since this item was first produced. There are no breaks, cracks or repairs.
