This is a very early desk set, made from steer horns with brass castings mounted to a walnut base, with a clock mounted in the center top and a barometer in the center bottom. Both clock and barometer are original to the piece. CONDITION: The desk set shows no breaks, cracks or repairs, with near mirrored size of the steer horns. The clock and barometer are original, with no significant scuffs or scratches to the wood base. It is missing a square base inkwell and a fountain pen, which would mount on the two hooks over the inkwell.
