Z-63 submachine gun manufactured by Star of Eibar, Spain. The left side of the receiver bears the serial number, with "STAR" above a star logo and "EIBAR - ESPANA/ MODELO Z-63". Right side of receiver is stamped "LAW ENFORCEMENT / ORDNANCE / ATHENS, GEORGIA". This gun has a black hard-coat finish on metal components exclusive of the barrel and bolt which have a blued finish. The grip is black polymer grip. Features include a dual function trigger reminiscent of the German World War II MG34, crossbolt safety, under-folding buttstock, spring loaded firing pin which only protrudes when the bolt is closed, bolt lock, hooded blade front sight, and a "L" flip rear sight with graduations from 100 and 200 meters. Two original magazines are included with this gun. Electronic NFA registry indicates “IMPORTED NFA FIREARM” as the manufacturer. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent with some slight loss of finish at the high edges of the magazine well and at the attachment point of the shoulder loop. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt face extremely fine. Mechanics are crisp. This is a select-fire machine gun. THIS ITEM IS TRANSFERABLE ONLY TO ACTIVE FFL/SOT DEALERS ON AN ATF FORM 3 BUT MAY BE RETAINED BY SOLE PROPRIETOR FFL/SOT HOLDERS WHEN THEY RELINQUISH THEIR LICENSES UPON BATF APPROVAL.
