Mauser broomhandle Schnellfeuer Machine Pistol with shoulder stock. Mauser banner logo on left receiver panel just to the rear of the selector switch. Right receiver panel has standard markings ”WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER OBERNDORF A. NECKAR D.R.P.u.A.P.” with typical crown over "U" and Mauser marking over chamber. One Mauser marked 10 round magazine included. There are relatively few of this model of machine gun in the National Firearms Act registry, and this fast-firing pistol has a cyclic rate of 800-1100 rounds per minute when fired in fully automatic mode. It is tremendously impressive to shoot at the range. These pistols were manufactured and marketed worldwide, primarily for police and government use. Think of how intimidating this would be to an unruly crowd of Anarchists. Police were trained to turn these guns sideways when contemplating crowd control, as this harnessed the muzzle climb to their advantage, spreading the projectiles to where they would be effective instead of going overhead into the air. Electronic NFA registry indicates “IMPORTED NFA FIREARM” as the manufacturer. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is extremely fine old refinish with some slight softening at the high edges, and the numbers, with some thinning to the finish in places. Some loss of finish at the selector. It takes a discerning eye to pick up on these details. Grips are very fine with some handling marks. Stock fit onto pistol is snug and positive. Bore is extremely fine, shiny and bright. Bolt face extremely fine. Mechanics are crisp and positive. This is a select fire machine gun, and this model is a hoot to shoot! THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS TRANSFERABLE ONLY TO ACTIVE FFL/SOT DEALERS ON AN ATF FORM 3 BUT MAY BE RETAINED BY SOLE PROPRIETOR FFL/SOT HOLDERS WHEN THEY RELINQUISH THEIR LICENSES UPON BATF APPROVAL.
