This is an attractive Auto Ordnance West Hurley Model 1928 Thompson with a contemporary “New York” 50 round drum, and four 30 round stick magazines (three Seymour and one SWC). Cutts compensator with solitary bullet logo on top. Electronic NFA registry indicates “AUTO ORDNANCE” as the manufacturer. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent original lustrous blue finish with exception of the actuator knob which is a matte gray finish. Wood is extremely fine with a chip out of the bottom rear with a couple dings and handling marks to the pistol grip. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt face is near excellent. Mechanics are crisp. This is a select fire machine gun. An attractive specimen in high condition for the person who wants an example of the Iconic American machine gun.
