This is rather unusual M1A1 Thompson that has a modern Pearl Manufacturing receiver, and it is so marked on the right side. All Thompsons are considered to have Curio and Relic status, but since the electronic NFA registry indicates the model as “M1A1” we are simply calling this gun Fully Transferable. There is an M1A1 bolt with a fixed firing pin in this gun. There are three 30 round magazines included with this gun as well as a contemporary NO BUCKL sling. Both the M1 and the M1A1 Thompsons have the cocking handle/actuator on the right side as opposed to the top of the receiver. The cocking handle on the gun is a knurled cylinder and makes it easy to grasp and pull back with a gloved hand. The M1A1 Thompson will not accept drum magazines, only stick magazines. Thompson Bullet Logo on the top of the Cutts compensator with a finned barrel. Electronic NFA registry indicates “PEARL, MARTIN G DBA PEARL MANUFACTURING” as the manufacturer. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent gray refinish upon remanufacture with the magazines having a lustrous blue original finish. Bore of this gun is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt face is near excellent. This is a select-fire machine gun. A very attractive shooter’s Thompson. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4. JWK 2025-05-024.
