Smith & Wesson Model 76 machine gun with a “U” prefix serial number. Two non-factory 36 round magazines are included. These guns were manufactured between 1967 – 1974. Features include selective fire, an ambidextrous safety/selector, and the ability to be very compact with a swing-out hard rubber covered shoulder loop. Electronic NFA registry indicates “SMITH AND WESSON” as the manufacturer. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is extremely fine original matte blue finish with extremely fine furnishings. Slight loss of finish where the selector rotates. Bore is near extremely fine shiny and bright with some firing residue. Bolt face extremely fine. Mechanics are crisp. This is a select fire machine gun. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4 AS CURIO AND RELIC ELIGIBLE. JWK 2025-05-029.
