Very desirable near mint Poly Tech AKS-223 with wood furnishings and underfolding bayonet. Classic Kalashnikov design with three 30 round stamped steel magazines included as well as original cardboard box. Serial number indicates 1985 year of manufacture. Imported by “KENG’S FIREARM SPECIALITY” on underside of receiver forward of magazine well, and hand electro-penciled, "SWD INC ATL GA" on the underside next to the trigger guard. Quite a number of these guns were manufactured in .223 and imported into the United States before May 1986 and some, such as this one, were converted into fully transferable machine guns. Electronic NFA registry indicates “SW DANIEL” as the manufacturer. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent original blue finish upon remanufacture. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt face is near excellent. Mechanics are crisp. This is a select fire machine gun. Just about as nice a specimen of its kind as one could ever hope to find of the most widely recognized and used assault rifle design in the world. Appears unfired in its original box except for factory test. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4.
