Lanchester USA, Dallas, Texas, imported British Sterling MK 4 L2A3 machine gun. This gun retains the original Sterling markings and serial number on the top of the magazine housing with added importers marking on left side below the magazine housing, “NORDAC MAN CORP USA / FRED. VA. / 22405”. 16 magazines total are included with this lot, two of which are 45 round magazines. The Sterling is a very popular recreational select-fire machine gun, and rightly so, as it is very controllable and comfortable to shoot. Electronic NFA registry indicates, “STERLING” as the manufacturer. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent pebble finish with near excellent grips. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt face near excellent. Mechanics are crisp. This is a select-fire machine gun. Just a fabulous pistol caliber machine gun.
