Higher condition matching serial number “1088” Thompson “C” drum in correct original dull matte finish. Drum is marked “AUTO-ORDNANCE CORP, NEW YORK N.Y., U.S.A. PATENTED JULY 27 1920 DEC 7 1920 “NO 1088” on main body with matching numbered cover. Original nickel rotor inside. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish of drum is especially fine original dull blue finish with some very slight thinning to a gray patina at the high edges with a slight ding at the 5:45 o’clock position of the cover. Nickel rotor and interior of drum in fine original condition with some light brown patina. This drum presents exceedingly well, and would make a great companion piece to the 1921 or 1921/28 Colt Thompson. JWK 2025-05-044.
