Produced in early 1945, Berlin-Luebecker continued production of the K.43 as Germany collapsed until May 2, just days before surrender. Fitted with late unthreaded blued barrel with classic hooded blade front sight on a stepped base. 1200 meter tangent rear sight. Scope rail is also mounted with a ddx code GW ZF4 scope serial number "41640" on a eagle over "359" inspected base. Includes reproduction scope covers. Rough forged single guide rail receiver with eagle over "214" inspection. Matching numbered bolt carrier with hold open. Matching numbers also found on the bolt, locking lugs, extractor, and firing pin housing in electro pencil. Laminate stock set with matching serial number stamped on the toeline and a carved "W" on the right side. Cupped tool trap butt plate. Includes 1 10-round "gcb" code K43 magazine, as well as a replica leather sling, reprint manual, and spare firing pin. CONDITION: Very good. Rifle retains the vast majority of its original arsenal blue with some fading and age spots. Stock has been lightly sanded, only ghosts of the stamped eagles visible on the right side. Very good, bright bore with some light frosting. Appears to cycle correctly when worked by hand. Optic is clear for its age. A nice example.
