Based on John M. Browning's iconic and rugged design, the 1919 belt-fed machine gun served with US forces through WWII into the Cold War Era. This example built as semi-automatic rifle by U.S. Ordnance of Sparks, Nevada with an Israeli 7.62x51mm parts kit which includes both USGI and Israeli-made parts. Full reapplied parkerized finish throughout. Standard 7.62mm barrel with perforated heat shield. Flip up blade front sight and ladder rear sight graduated for 7.62 NATO ammunition. Fitted with a checkered steel pistol grip. This 1919 is accompanied by lightweight military style tripod, pintle, t and e mechanism, and a folding bipod. CONDITION: Very good as professionally rebuilt. Nearly all of the reapplied finish is retained throughout with some mild wear and a few light oxidation spots. Well defined bore with some frosting in the grooves. Mechanically fine.
